Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 through 2019. She is a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.



 



 Before her post at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. Nauert also served as acting under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in the Trump administration from March to October 2018. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
